Wheaton Glass Tissue Grinders: Dounce Tissue Grinders are designed to avoid damage to nuclei and mitochondria while reducing soft tissue. Tissue grinders are ideal for enzyme studies. They include mortar with reservoir and pour out, and both loose and tight pestles. They are made of borosilicate glass.
Potter-Elvehjem Tissue Grinders are ideal for preparation of soft tissue homogenates. They include borosilicate glass mortar with pour out, and interchangeable PTFE resin pestle with stainless steel rod. They are autoclavable.
