Thermo Scientific MicroPure Type 1 Low-Volume Water Purification Systems

The Thermo Scientific Micropure system is specifically designed for labs that require a small daily quantity of high-purity water. The compact system can sit right on the benchtop or be wall mounted (requires optional wall mounting bracket EF11159). Choose from systems that directly access an existing water line or systems with an integrated 6 L feed water reservoir.

All systems include variable speed dispensing from a single drop to full stream. A recirculation pump prevents bacterial growth when water is not being used and allows the unit to constantly monitor system status including the quality of incoming feed water. A backlit display tilts for easy viewing and displays system status and feed water quality. Password protection can be used to protect critical settings. An RS232 port provides a data output for GMP traceability.   

Micropure systems with UV generate light at both the 185 and 254 nm wavelengths, to ensure maximum oxidation of organic compounds. The result is total oxidizable carbon (TOC) levels of <5 ppb.

Micropure systems with an ultrafilter are the right choice where elimination of endotoxins and/or nucleases is required. The filter is flushed automatically to consistently produce water with endotoxin levels <0.001 EU/mL. (TOC for these systems is 5-10 ppb.)

Micropure combination UV/UF systems provide water virtually free of all impurities. They produce reagent-grade water with endotoxin levels <0.001 EU/mL, TOC levels <5 ppb, and no detectable RNase/DNase or DNA.

All systems accept quick-disconnect AquaStop cartridges. Optional disinfection cartridge (EF11152) fits into the cartridge pack location. Systems include a wall bracket, ultrapure polishing cartridge, sterile 0.2 µm final filter (can be re-sterilized up to 5x), and a pressure regulator.

Stainless Steel DI Cartridge (EF11111) is required when feed water is pretreated using reverse osmosis.
