Saran Wrap

Classic Saran Wrap is a common gel drying application. It is often used in the lab to prevent cracking of gels or distorting samples. Less clingy than other films, saran wrap can be easily removed from a gel surface without tearing or disrupting the gel.

This saran wrap is also effective maintaining moisture in a sample while sealing out oxygen. Other applications include sealing plates and beakers, and wrapping gels for refrigerated storage.
