Pyrex Low Actinic Glass Media Bottles

These heavy duty PYREX® Low Actinic Glass Media Bottles are manufactured from low actinic glass for use when storing or transporting light sensitive materials. They include a liner less, one-piece autoclavable orange polypropylene plug seal GL45 threaded cap with a drip-free pouring ring. A new glass bead indicates full capacity line. Bottles have permanent white enamel graduations and marking spots. 

A wide range of optional caps are available for these bottles. They include polypropylene colored caps in a choice of orange, green, purple, red, and light gray for ease of sorting and identification. They feature a vented membrane cap with 0.22µm PTFE hydrophobic membrane. They have red PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) solid caps and ETFE pouring rings for dry heat sterilization (180°C). They also have PBT caps with silicone septa for syringe sampling or introduction of reagents.
