Nalgene Round Carboys
Thermo Scientific Nalgene Round Carboys feature molded shoulder handles that make carrying easier and a polypropylene screw closure that provides a secure seal. Choose standard or containers with molded-in spigot for easy dispensing. Threaded polypropylene spigots are molded-in for strength and leak resistance.
Choose from two materials:
Low-density polyethylene is translucent and ideal for storing and transporting reagents or other laboratory solutions.
Polypropylene is translucent and autoclavable; it’s recommended for collecting and dispensing distilled water, reagents and acids. Autoclave with the cap off; carboys with spigots should be autoclaved empty as spigot could leak from thermal expansion.
