Lab-Tek Chamber Slide Systems

These Thermo Scientific Nunc Lab-Tek Chamber Slide Systems are miniature culture vessels designed for small scale cell culture and analysis.

A polystyrene media chamber is affixed to a standard 25 x 75 mm glass or plastic microscope slide that is cleaned for optimal cell attachment and serves as the growth surface. Detachable media chamber allows for cells to be grown, fixed, stained, and analyzed all on the same slide. Chambers and slides have a removable nontoxic silicone gasket.

Nontoxic and nonfluorescent slides have sample marking areas and come in either cell-culture treated Permanox® for anchorage-dependent cells or soda lime glass to promote cell adhesion and growth. Permanox plastic has minimal fluorescence and can be used with proper blocking filters in the UV blue range and also allows for increased gas exchange for culture of hepatocyte cells. Glass offers optimal optical clarity with minimal autofluorescence along with resistivity to solvents, acids, bases, and heat. Process with methanol-based solutions and aqueous coverslip reagents, not toluene or xylene.

Slide systems come in a pack of 16 or case of 96.
