Infectious Substance Shipper

Saf-T-Pak Infectious Substance Shipper offers packaging to help ensure public safety in the transportation of Division 6.2 Infectious Substances and related materials. The STP-100 is a Category A reusable shipping system, a ready-to-use system that accepts BCTs, urine containers, and other primary containers. It includes a retaining coil secondary pressure vessel that is fully autoclavable.  The pressure vessel is ideal for secondary containment, cushioning and absorbent, outer box, and all required labels, declaration forms and instructions. 

The reusable, 1.25L wide mouth polypropylene pressure vessel remains air and watertight to 95kPa. All material is performance tested and independently certified.

The STP-300 is an insulated package meant to ship frozen serum, tissues, animal parts, or other biological samples. Dry Ice Shippers are to be used in conjunction with STP-100 for controlled shipments with other Saf-T-Temp™ products or Dry ice for thermal control. It includes a reusable 2" thick polyfoam box and spacer that houses one STP-100 unit (not supplied), cardboard outer box, and all labels and instructions for shipping hazardous specimens. A mere ten kg of solid dry ice will keep contents frozen for 84 hours at near room temperature of 73°F.
