Heraeus Pico and Fresco Microcentrifuges
These Thermo Scientific Heraeus Pico and Fresco Microcentrifuges are high capacity and can hold 36 x 0.5 mL microtubes, 24 x 2 mL tubes or 8 x 8 PCR strips. The brushless induction drive motor keeps noise levels below 55 dB for the Pico and 50 dB for the Fresco. A “quick run” key facilitates short processing runs.
A safety interlock keeps the lid from being opened during operation. The unique bio-containment rotor lid with ClickSeal feature actually “clicks” to verify sample containment. The bio-containment rotor is ideal for applications with radioactive and/or infectious materials.
The Bio-containment rotor is ideal for applications with radioactive and/or infectious materials. The microcentrifuges have acceleration and deceleration times of only 12 seconds. They feature bright, easy-to-read displays and intuitive controls.
