C-Mag Stirring Hot Plates
These IKA C-Mag Stirring Hot Plates have seamless, one-piece, glass-ceramic top plate that provides excellent resistance to chemicals. An elevated control panel minimizes contact with spills.
They have a “hot top” indicator that flashes a light to warn you that surface is hot to the touch. A fixed safety circuit turns heater off if temperature rises above 550°C. Microprocessor control sends feedback to motor and hot plate to maintain constant speed and set temperature. 7x7 and 10x7 sizes include a connection for ETS-D 4 contact thermometer, enabling precise temperature control of the sample.The strong magnet has high adhesion to prevent stir bar decoupling. A powerful motor stirs viscous material up to a maximum of 15 L. A digital display allows for accurate and repeatable temperature settings.
Temperature range is 50 to 500°C; stirring range is 100 to 1500 rpm.
