Avitrolab Cell Strainers & Pestle

The Avitrolab Cell Strainers are perfect for many applications such as removing clumps/debris from samples and isolating cells. They are compatible with the Avitrolab centrifuge tubes as well as many other brands of standard 50 mL centrifuge tubes.  

The Avitrolab Pestle is designed to improve manipulation of material in the strainer. It’s 5.5” in length and includes a molded-texture surface.

• Polypropylene housing with nylon mesh filter
• Use forceps for aseptic handling with the elongated lip on the housing which extends beyond the edge of the centrifuge tube
• Extended gripping tab on housing for easy handling
• Available in 40µm, 70µm and 100µm pore size and color-coded by mesh porosity for easy identification
• Strainers & Pestle are packaged sterile (gamma-irradiated) in individually wrapped paper/plastic peel wrappers
