Ultra-Low Temperature Freezers
These So-Low Ultra-Low Temperature Freezers are designed for freezing and storing samples that must be maintained at minus 85°C. They have a broad temperature range of -40°C to -85°C, designed for freezing and storing samples that must be maintained at minus 85°C. The tamper-proof digital controller can be set in one-degree increments. Actual temperature and set point are always displayed.
A rechargeable, battery-operated alarm system features both audible and visual indicators, under and over temperature settings, alarm silence switch, battery test switch and relay for remote alarm connection.
The freezers are constructed for energy efficiency with five inches of CFC-free insulation. Two-stage compressors utilize environmentally friendly CFC-free refrigerant and heavy duty door gaskets. An integral heater harness prevents door gasket frost build-up.
The adjustable cam latches provide a tight closure. All units are factory tested for 7 continuous days prior to shipping and carry a 1 year parts and labor warranty. They are available in both upright and chest versions.
Choose the capacity that best suits storage requirements and space constraints. Optional, factory installed accessories include a 7 day recorder with 6" chart, CO2 back-up system and liquid nitrogen back-up system. Call for specifications and ordering information.
