The simple body design features a spill-resistant front control panel with a chemically toughened glass for extra resilience. When the plate temperature rises above 50°C, a hot warning light flashes even if the unit is turned off and unplugged. All units feature an integral fixing point for a retort rod and BioCote™ antimicrobial protection.

The ceramic-coated aluminum plate offers excellent heat transmission rapid heating with a 700-watt heating element, and even temperature distribution.
