The Plas-labs Anaerobic-Controlled Atmosphere Chambers minimize the risk of oxygen entry into the main working chamber. It’s ideal for oxygen sensitive tasks as well as critical isolation of either the operator or the research materials.
The chamber consists of a one-piece clear acrylic top with a white bottom and two two vacuum pressure pumps: one each for the transfer chamber and the drying train. The catalyst heater reduces trace amounts of oxygen and maintains a temperature level of 35 to 37°C. The drying train removes any resultant water vapor as needed via its own vacuum pressure pump and three polycarbonate desiccant canisters.
The transfer chamber includes an adjustable vacuum gauge and two key cock purge valves. The inner door opens automatically when pressures are neutralized between the main chamber and the transfer chamber. The work chamber contains illuminated controls and a bright fluorescent light system.
Each chamber includes one pair of chemical and UV-resistant, ambidextrous Hypalon gloves and a UL- and CSA- approved hospital-grade electrical outlet strip. 120 V, 60Hz.
