General Purpose Student Microscopes 104 Series
These National Optical General Purpose Student Microscopes 104 Series have a rugged frame and extra-bright illumination (tungsten or LED) that make them especially suitable for use in the classroom. The widefield 10x eyepiece with revolving pointer and achromatic 4/10/40x color-coded objectives are simple enough for beginners, yet provide excellent visualization.
The frame is constructed of rugged cast aluminum with a gray, chemically resistant enamel finish. The triple nosepiece is equipped with a precision-revolving objective turret. Oversized focusing knobs furnish mid-range adjustments. A built-in slip-clutch system protects focusing mechanism from “overturn.” Rack stop eliminates damage to slides and lenses. The head is inclined 45° and can rotate 360° for viewing by multiple students. The stage measures 88 mm x 82 mm and includes locked-on, spring activated clips and a sub-stage disc diaphragm.
Microscope includes dust cover and a 5-year limited warranty. Height: 278 mm
