Mettler Toledo Excellence XP Microbalances feature a “minweigh” door, a small window that allows micro-dosing directly into large tare containers without opening the draft shield, reducing sample transfer errors. Because turbulence is minimized, stable results are faster. The balance provides a warning if the sample violates the minimum weigh requirements for the application. ErgoClips allow the user to secure small or oddly-shaped tare containers.
Three technological innovations in one instrument provide precise, secure weighing. SmartSens programmable infrared sensors allow hands free operation. The SmartScreen color touchscreen display offers individual profiles and access rights for up to eight users for full data security and regulatory compliance. And, the unique “floating” SmartGrid weighing pan minimizes the area upon which air turbulence can act, dramatically shortening the time it takes to reach stabilization.
Seven different applications are available including statistical evaluation, differential weighing, and formula weighing. A built-in RS232 interface and two auxiliary outlets provide data outputs and a slot for a second interface provides additional options, including Bluetooth and Ethernet. Individual reports can be defined for up to 4 user IDs. Terminal and balance can be separated for flexibility in tight spaces.
An automatic dual draft shield reduces air turbulence and provides easy access to the weighing pan. Outer doors open horizontally; inner draft shield opens vertically. Each unit includes a protective cover for the terminal and a production certificate.
