MaxQ 4000 and 5000 Incubated/Refrigerated Orbital Shakers Thermo Scientific

The Thermo Scientific MaxQ 4000 and 5000 Incubated/Refrigerated Orbital Shakers come with a user-friendly control panel for easy use and accuracy. This control panel has a 20-character back-lit display to minimize errors when inputting parameters. These parameters include run and set points for temperature, speed, and time. These parameters can be changed easily using the menu-driven programming of the control panel.

The Thermo Scientific Orbital Shakers are ideal for solubility studies, extraction procedures, cell culture studies, genetics research, bacterial suspensions, distaining, and washing procedures. Spill tray, sealed mechanism and control panel, and outside-chamber location of electronics ensure that shaker components are not damaged by spills. 

Triple eccentric drive offers smooth optimum handling of full or unbalanced loads without vibration. The orbital shakers can be operated 24 hours and has safety features to ensure safety. Audible/visual over- and under-temperature tracking alarms ensure product protection. Separate adjustable over-temperature safety alarm with independent probe provides additional backup. 

MaxQ 4000 Benchtop Incubated/Refrigerated Shakers
Use these incubated shakers for culturing a wide array of organisms in microwell plates and flasks up to 2 liters. Hybridization, plasmid preps, and DNA fingerprinting can be performed with the high-temperature model. Chamber temperature can be precisely controlled and monitored over the full range with the PID microprocessor. Safety interlock stops platform motion when lid is open. Polycarbonate lid offers unobstructed viewing of samples. 

MaxQ 5000 Floor Model Incubated/Refrigerated Shakers
Use these large floor model shakers to accommodate 6-L Erlenmeyer flasks or five 2800 mL Fernbach flasks. Chamber temperature can be precisely controlled and monitored over the full range with the PID microprocessor. Temperature uniformity of ±0.5°C is provided by constant speed AC motor and blower system that circulates air throughout the insulated chamber. Stainless steel interior prevents rust and corrosion and is easy to clean. A foot pedal automatically opens the door for hands-free operation. Door has a large slanted viewing window to observe flask contents and a flexible gasket that creates a tight seal against the cabinet. Retractable foot casters let you easily transport the unit around the lab. Cabinet has an access port for thermocouples, gassing manifolds, or sensors. 

Analog Models:
These models feature an easy-to-read digital LED electronic temperature display and tachometer for speed. Over-temperature safety signal with independent thermostat acts as additional backup by controlling the heat if main controller fails. 

Digital Models:
These models let you view time, rotation, and temperature simultaneously on the large LED displays to minimize errors. Over-temperature tracking signals alerts you when temperature deviates ±1°C above set-point, turning the heater off. Independent thermostat provides additional backup by controlling the heat if main controller fails. Five-year warranty on parts; one-year warranty on labor; lifetime on drive mechanism.
