These Thermo Scientific MaxQ 6000 Digital Incubated and Refrigerated/Incubated Stackable Orbital Shakers can be used for a wide variety of hybridization, cell culture, solubility, metabolism, staining/destaining, plasmid purification, and protein expression applications. The chamber accommodates uop to 6-L volume flasks. Up to two can be stacked on the floor to save bench space.
Three separate displays are featured for viewing temperature, speed and time.Chamber temperatures are monitored and controlled via a PID temperature controller providing superior accuracy. Triple-eccentric drive mechanism provides uniform, quiet operation.
The solid state brushless DC motor requires no maintenance. An internal electrical outlet allows the user to operate shakers, stirrer, or rotators. An RS-232 interface permits remote monitoring of set parameters.
Visual/audible alarms alert temperature and rotation variations and unbalanced loads. They automatically turn the shaker off until a particular condition is corrected. The incubated shaker shuts down automatically if the temperature set-point deviates ±1.0°C or set-speed varies by more than 10%.
The safety interlock system disables shaking motion when door is opened. An over-temperature control with an independent, integral thermostat provides backup if the main temperature controller fails. Units come standard with two stainless steel shelves.
The bottom orbital shaker accepts 18" x 18" platform EF22191C Order platform and a wide variety of clamps and racks separately. To stack two incubators order the stacking kit 7825D listed below.
