These MBP Low Retention Pipette Tips solve two of the most common laboratory pipetting problems: aerosoling and retained sample in the pipet tip. Choose from two types:
ART® low retention pipette tips incorporate a self-sealing filter tip that keeps liquids or aerosols from coming in contact with the pipette, preventing crossover contamination. Tips are typically used with radioactive isotopes, serological fluids, infectious samples and aerosol-bound DNA and RNA.
MBP® low retention tips have an extremely-hydrophobic inner surface to ensure the maximum sample is ejected from the tip. The MicroPoint™ tip profile is nearly 50% smaller than standard blunt-end tips and significantly narrower than beveled-end tips. This increases precision, especially when working with low-volume samples. Tips are clear with reference markings for visual confirmation.
Sterile tips are RNase/DNase-, nucleic acid- and pyrogen-free.
