Kimble Chase KIMAX Glass Culture and Test Tubes have enamel marking spot. Screw cap test tubes include autoclavable phenolic caps with white rubber liners or inert PTFE-faced rubber liners. KIMAX culture tube are made from KG-33 glass tubing, with a fire-polished top rim and uniform wall thickness for maximum heat transfer and chemical resistance. They feature a durable white ceramic enamel marking spot. They are designed from ASTM Specification E982, Type IV requirements.
Their thread finish complies with Glass Packaging Institute (GPI) requirements. The cap has a PTFE-faced rubber liner and is not attached. It is designed from ASTM E982, Type VI, Class B requirements. Replacement caps are 45066C.
