Heating Mantles

These Glas-Col Heating Mantles are made of durable aluminum with a soft fabric interior. STM mantles can withstand a 450°C internal operating temperature. They are preferred over Bunsen burners or hot plates for organic liquids. They provide even heating with no hot spots along with maximum surface coverage for better temperature uniformity. The Series STM 115 volt mantle is suitable for applications needing more heat.

The aluminum housing mantles are CSA certified and feature rigid housing for strength and durability as they support the weight of the vessel. Their fabric interior softly nests glass vessels to reduce the chance of thermal shock and damage to glassware. Stabilizing feet on smaller mantle sizes provide stability and promote cooler exterior temperatures.
