Orion Low-Maintenance pH Electrodes is a single junction, hassle-free electrode that is easily disposable. It is typically used for clean-water measuring, meeting all the requirements of RoHS compliance specifications. These green electrodes contain no lead, mercury or any other dangerous substances or material, despite having an electrode with a glass bulb. This makes it the first laboratory electrode containing a glass bulb to conform to RoHS regulations. Other glass-bulb pH electrodes are constructed with glass that contains about 20% lead.

Scientific Orion Green electrodes are single junction, durable epoxy body electrodes that are better suited for laboratory or field applications that require occasional disposal and frequent testing. The GS9106BNWP model contains a gel that does not need to be refilled. The electrodes have a waterproof BNC connector that is compatible with any pH meter with a BNC input.

The Green electrode measures at 20 x 12mm with a cap diameter of 16mm. Typically pH meters used with this electrode include the Thermo Scientific Orion® 3-Star pH meter, 4-Star pH/ISE meter, 4-Star pH/DO meter, 4-Star pH/conductivity meter or 5-Star pH/ISE/DO/conductivity meter.
