These polystyrene Flasks with Corning® PureCoat™ Surface are pre-coated withCorning PureCoat™ amine, a proprietary blend of animal-free, chemically-defined (synthetic) attachment factors. The coating provides an appropriate surface for a broad range of cell types, including primary cells and transformed cell lines. In particular, it supports increased growth of human bone-marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hMSC) and human adipose-derived stem cells (hASC) culture over standard tissue culture treated vessels. Typical seeding densities are 300,000 to 1,500,000 cells per flask depending on the desired incubation time.
Flasks include a vented polystyrene cap. 75 cm2 flasks have a canted neck; 175 cm2 flasks have a straight neck. Sterilized to SAL 10-6 by gamma irradiation; non-cytotoxic; non-pyrogenic. Store at room temperature; stable for up to 12 months from date of manufacturer. Provided in inner packs of five each.
