Designed to withstand temperatures from -70� to -196�C!

Radiation sterilized polypropylene vials with polyethylene screw caps are manufactured from nontoxic, nonmutagenic, nonpyrogenic materials. All Cryotubes include a writing area and volume estimation line.

Internally threaded vials incorporate a special silicone gasket seal for use in liquid nitrogen storage systems.* Externally threaded vials are ideal for mechanical freezing or vapor phase liquid nitrogen storage. Deep skirted cap facilitates aseptic techniques. Both styles are available in conical or round bottoms and also in self-standing and starfoot base design. Starfoot fins interlock with grooves of CryoTube Rack to allow one handed operation. Externally threaded stepneck vials features a cap that is the same outer diameter as that of the vials.

*Warning: Do not use for freezing in liquid nitrogen (liquid phase storage) unless correctly sealed in CryoFlex as this poses a safety hazard.
