Disposable sterile tubes can be used for most routine laboratory procedures. All tubes features white graduations and marking areas to allow consistent volume estimation and identification. They are biologically inert and free from cytotoxic mold release agents. Precision molding with virgin thermoplastics ensures tubes have uniform size and shape. High resistance to breakage reduces danger in handling infectious or other potentially harmful cultures.

Transparent polystyrene tubes will withstand moderate centrifugation to 1400 x g and temperatures to 70°C. Translucent polypropylene tubes can be centrifuged at higher speeds (3000 x g) and resist temperatures from –190° to 120°C.

All tubes are supplied with either 2-position ribbed polyethylene cap (which can be left loose for aerobic work or sealed for anaerobic cultures) or without caps for general purpose work.

Packaging options include bulk packed in resealable bags with a tamperproof tear off seal, bulk packed in an oriented tray or individually wrapped.
