The new GENESYS 10 provides all the features you expect from Spectronic Unicam with a rugged design, user-friendly interface, superior reliability and accuracy, and functional software. Both the Vis and UV/Vis units utilize a unique optical design to reduce stray light and produce precise imaging on the sample. This imaging allows the use of microcells down to 70µl without any special cell holders. A large graphical display allows easy viewing of measurement parameters and results. Front key panel provides easy input and operation. Units with 6-position cell holder can measure all six cells automatically or can be rotated to specific positions by cell changer buttons on the front keypad.

The GENESYS 10 UV/Vis unit features a xenon flashlamp and dual detectors for an outstanding signal-to-noise ratio. The xenon lamp yields distinct and uniform emission lines for highest accuracy and resolution. It also offers a much longer lamp life than a standard deuterium lamp.

The built-in software of the GENESYS 10 will run simple A/%T/Concentration measurements, Standard Curve, Absorbance Ratio, Absorbance Difference, Kinetics, Survey Scan, 3-Point Net, and Multi-wavelength programs. All of the programs allow you to set the measurement mode, run single or multiple samples, and perform statistics on the results. Up to 40 customized tests can be programmed into the instrument, uniquely named, and saved for easy recall.

A built-in printer is available as an option on either unit if you need to document results. Parameters such as time, date, test name, standards, graphs and statistics can all be printed out -- ideal for GLP requirements.
