This compact UV/Vis unit has a large, easy-to-read graphics display with full details of scanning results. Modes of operation include absorbance, transmittance, multi-wavelength, scanning, ratio (A260/280), concentration, kinetics, or programmable for up to 99 methods. Measurement data and scans can be displayed in a variety of formats. Method development is made easier with a visual display of the spectrum and the capability to program individual methods. Single beam, diode array optics and pulsed deuterium and pulsed tungsten light sources provide long, maintenance-free operation. The open sample compartment provides easy access and accepts cuvettes from 10 to 40 mm path length, yet is unaffected by stray light.
