Easy to use colony counter allows fatigue-free and safe work thanks to its problem-free counting mechanism. Surface on which the Petri dish is placed is pressure-sensitive - marking colonies on the Petri dish with the marker pen (sold separately) activates the counter. Pressue sensitivity is adjustable for optimal adaptation to the operator.

An acoustic check signal automatically compensates for the weights of the Petri dishes. Pressure sensor system provides uniform sensitivity over the whole of the working field. Zero-voltage protection guards against short interruptions to the main supply.

Ring-shaped lamp provides uniform working field illumination. Magnifier offers distortion-free optics and can be positioned anywhere with its flexible arm.

Select direct illumination for nutrient agars with a dark background and indirect illumination for light agars.

Colony counter comes with 3-fold magnifier (100 mm diameter), plug-in flexible arm, switchable background (light - dark), and Wolffheugel grid. Electrical requirements: 115 V, 60Hz. Marker pen is sold separately.
