Microprocessor controls provide functionality, accuracy and ease of use. Dual display simultaneously shows the user the count for each individual channel in addition to the large total cell count. Audible click and soft keys permit accurate and fast counting with decreased hand fatigue. Check totals, percentages, or correct the count at any time and then continue counting. The 12-channel model also features absolute WBC count mode. While both units provide 3-digit counting per channel, only the 8-channel displays three digits up to a maximum of 999 counts while the 12-channel unit displays two digits and indicates overflow condition above 99 count. Percent calculations are still based upon the internal 3-digit counts. Key overlays provide for various key mapping
