These pumps are two-stage, oil-sealed and sliding-vane. The mode selector has two positions: high vacuum and high throughput.
These pumps are two-stage, oil-sealed and sliding-vane. The mode selector has two positions: high vacuum and high throughput. The pump is driven directly by a single phase electric motor which is totally enclosed and fan cooled. Should the motor overheat, a thermal overload device switches off the pump. When the pump is switched off an inlet-valve prevents back streaming of air and oil into the vacuum system.
