This simple, economical spectrophotometer is an excellent teaching aid in a variety of classroom settings. A robust and compact design is able to withstand the rigors of a teaching environment while a large digital display with simple push-button controls gives students hands-on access to the fundamentals of spectroscopy.

Readings can be displayed in either absorbance units or in % transmittance with a simple push of a button.

Unit comes standard with a integral kinetic mode. This allows for automatic readings every second that can be output to a PC, chart recorder or printer via a RS-232 or analogue signal.

Spectrophotometer includes 8 filters held in a built-in filter wheel covering the range of 440 to 700 nm. Unit accepts 10 mm pathlength cuvettes or 16 mm diameter tubes. Order 10 mm /12 mm adapter set separately below left.
