This new fluorometer meets the challenge of a variety of analytical fluorescence applications such as DNA/RNA quantitation, protein quantitation, cell proliferation assays, immunoassays, vitamin assays, enzyme activity/ kinetics studies, chlorophyll measurement and more. Quantech fluorometers offer wide spectral excitation and emission ranges. Their high energy quartz halogen and mercury line lamps, and low noise photomultiplier tube detectors optimize performance. All units come standard with one excitation filter(Narrow Band, 360) and one emission filter(Sharp Cut, 415). Almost 30 other, easy to install, filters are available which enable you to custom configure your unit.

These technologically advanced units feature automatic gain adjustment to eliminate manual adjustment of gain and span, as well as automatic optimization of the linear range to maximize the working concentration range. Discreet signal averaging maximizes linearity. Direct readout of concentration is given in user-selectable units of ppm, ppb, ppt, µg/ml, µg/dl, ng/ml, ng/µl, or pg/ml. High sensitivity levels are obtained: 25pg/ml dsDNA in 2ml assay volume (PicoGreen®), 30 ppt QSO4 in standard square cuvette, 20 ppt FITC in standard square cuvette. If your application requires a basic one point standard or reference measurement, the Raw Fluorescence Mode allows you to obtain quantitative fluorescence data.

Microprocessor control and menu-driven software yield high performance and easy operation. Memory will retain up to 9 multi-point standard curves, which can be viewed or printed at any time. Units have an RS232 serial interface for data output. Sample compartment has versatile sample holder that will accommodate 12.5 x 12.5 x 45mm square cuvettes, or 12 x 75mm round tubes. Unit can also accept micro cuvettes and flow cells ( adjustable Z dimension, 8.5 or 15mm).

    Select from three models:

Quantech Base Model: Quantitate compounds with excitation wavelengths in the range of 340-750nm and emission wavelengths <650nm. This is the model of choice for most common biotech and life science applications.

    Excitation: 340-750nm

    Emission: 300-650nm

Quantech IR Model: Quantitate compounds with excitation wavelengths in the range of 340-750nm and emission wavelengths < 870nm. This model is ideal for chlorophyll analysis.

    Excitation: 340-750nm

    Emission: 185-870nm

Quantech Wide Band Model: Quantitate compounds with excitation wavelengths in the range of 254-750nm and emission wavelengths < 870nm. This model offers the maximum flexibility for a variety of applications.

    Excitation: 254-750nm*

    Emission: 185-870nm

Wavelength Accuracy: 1.5 to 10 nmdepending on filters used)

Bandwidth: 5-200 nm (depending on filters used)

    Concentration Range: 0.00-9999.99 ppt, ppm, ppb, µg/dl,µg/ml, ng/ml, pg/ml, ng/µl
