Dual Magnification Stereo Microscope
Precision optics and alignment furnish an upright, unreversed, clear, three-dimensional image!
Optics: 10x widefield eyepieces with diopter adjustment. Eyepieces have a 34 mm O.D. Eyepiece tubes have a 33 mm O.D. and a 30.5 mm I.D. Interpupillary adjustment ranges from 55 to 75 mm and rubber eye shields are included. Parfocalled, parcentered and achromatic objectives.
Mechanics: Rugged cast metal frame with a chemically resistant gray enamel finish that will keep the microscopes looking good for years to come. Magnification can be adjusted via a 90° positive click stop rotating turret. Please see table below for specific objectives available with each model. Focus adjustment is attained via a heavy-duty rack and pinion system with slip clutch and tension adjustment. The viewing head on the dissecting stereo microscopes are inclined 45° and rotate 360°. Bases of all models are supplied with two 80 mm stage plates (frosted and reversible black/white). Bases on tungsten units measure 153W x 218D mm. Bases on the fluorescent units measure 171W x 242D mm. Maximum specimen height of 31 mm.
Illumination: Both incidental and transmitted lighting. Base-mounted light switches allow student to choose between top, bottom or dual illumination. Standard units with tungsten bulbs have a 10 W top light and a 15 W bottom light. Units come standard with blue filters. Fluorescent units are superior for brightness, long life, and coolness for temperature sensitive specimens. 115 V/60 Hz.
5 year limited warranty and a dustcover included.
