Students analyze local water samples for a variety of common pollutants using safe, quick chemical tests. Tests include chlorine, copper, hardness, dissolved oxygen, nitrogen, phosphate and pH. Students learn how to quantify the concentration of pollutants and determine the pollution level that poses a danger to wildlife and man. Kit includes materials for 40 students.
