These portable handheld refractometers are easy-to-operate and provide quick measurements for aqueous solutions and other samples. Operation requires only 1 or 2 drops of sample on the prism. A focusable, cushioned-rubber eyepiece, and easy-to-read scales with large figures provide quick and accurate measurements. Durable construction includes prisms mounted in high-impact plastic for shock resistance and non-roll stands to prevent unit rolling off the benchtop. A wide range of reading scales are available—choose Brix, Salinity, Wine Must or Refractive Index (nD). Units are also available with Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) which eliminates the need to recalibrate the unit over an effective ambient temperature range of 10 to 30°C.
