Each set includes representatives of the following phyla: Porifera, Coelenterata, Ctnephora, Platyhelminthes, Nematoda, Annelida, Arthropoda, Mollusca. Echinodermata and Chordata. The 48-specimen set also includes representatives of the phyla Bryozoa and Brachipoda.
