This chamber is designed to help improve the accuracy of PCRŽ and general tissue culture procedures.

This chamber is designed to help improve the accuracy of PCRŽ and general tissue culture procedures. The "still air enclosure" system combined with a 254 nm UV germicidal lamp reduce the chance for air-borne contamination during DNA sequencing. Proximity sensors turn off the UV system for safety when the door is opened. There is also an automatic timer to activate UV sterilization. Bright fluorescent lamp provides excellent task lighting.

Two bright white shelves are included (5 x 23") & (7 x 23") and one is tooled to store pipettors. The front panel is one-half inch (13 mm) thick for beta radiation protection. Main housing and top are removable for installation of large pieces of research equipment. Sides and back wall are one piece formed of 0.375" thick acrylic for long term rigidity, durability, and protection. Bottom has a formed in place spill tray. 120V, 60Hz with a 2 amp circuit breaker.
