Removable grinding chamber allows for multiple batch processing. Grind hard, brittle, and dry samples with volumes up to 250 mL at 20,000 rpm with this heavy-duty mill. Double-wall grinding chamber allows for cooling with water for temperature sensitive samples. Two hose adapter ports accept 3⁄8" ID tubing. Automatic shut-off control protects the motor from both overheating and overloading. A fan-cooled, 440-watt motor is isolated from the grinding chamber by a dust tight seal.

Unit is constructed of heavy-duty cast aluminum with an enameled finished; chamber is constructed of 304 SS for purity and strength. Standard 304 SS blade can grind materials with a 5 moh hardness. Order optional “star” blade below for cutting fibrous materials; or tungsten carbide blade for grinding samples up to 9 mohs in hardness. Spare grinding chambers are available below for continuous batch processing.

Note: This mill is not intended for use with liquids or wet samples as they may destroy or damage the motor.
