Ergonomically designed, precisely manufactured and simple to use, this new inverted microscope provides versatility and high quality images for brightfield and phase contrast observation.

Optics: Both binocular and trinocular configurations are available. Units come with paired extra-widefield 10X eyepieces. Order 9041AP separately below for reticule and cross-hair. Left eyetube has diopter focus control. All models have a wide 50 to 75 mm interpupillary distance range. Microscopes come standard with LWD (Long Working Distance) objectives. Choose from plan achromat or plan achromat and plan phase contrast microscope configurations (see table below). Models with plan plan phase contrast objectives include a centering telescope. All units have standard built-in photographic and video ports (adapters also required) for advanced tissue culture, cell biology and microbiology procedures where cell behavior needs to be photographically documented.

Mechanics: The stand is all-metal with low position coaxial coarse and fine focusing. Fine focus resolution is 0.002 mm. The large, graduated (at 0.1 mm), oversized, mechanical stage is 242 x 172 mm. Center stage ring is 110 mm in diameter.

Illumination: Features a built-in 12V/30 W halogen illuminator with intensity adjustment and a handy lamp centering device. Also included is a centerable condenser with iris diaphragm and a phase annulus ring slot. The condenser can swing out to accommodate larger sample containers and the holder features an up-limit safety stop to help prevent accidental damage. Also included are filter discs with built-in blue, green, yellow and frosted filters.
