New benchtop freeze dryer features an upright, stainless steel collector chamber to speed and simplify defrost. Stainless steel collector coil can remove 2 L of water in 24 hours, and holds 2.5L of ice before defrosting.

Select either automatic or manual mode operation. Automatic mode initiates collector cool down and vacuum pull down at the press of a button. LCD displays operating parameters, set up parameters and alarm messages. Vacuum can be displayed in mBar, Pa or Torr, and temperature in °F or °C. LED "waves" display relative system vacuum and collector temperature. Alarm light flashes and beeper sounds to indicate that an abnormal system event has occurred.

Moisture sensor prevents refrigeration or vacuum start up when moisture is detected in the collector chamber area. Vacuum break valve bleeds air into the system when power to the freeze dryer or vacuum pump is shut off.

Other features include attachment lid for easy connection of drying accessories, side-mounted 9" retractable collector drain hose, and rear-mounted 3/4" vacuum connection.

Available with optional PTFE resin-coated collector chamber and coil for use with corrosive compounds. Drying accessories and vacuum pumps are required for operation and must be purchased separately. All systems listed below are for 115V operation; 230V units are available, call for information.
