1 L, 2.5L and 6 L systems require purchase of a separate drying chamber. Choose from Stainless Steel drying chambers, clear drying chamber, heated drying chamber, stoppering chamber or manifolds.

SS Drying Chamber

Durable, stainless steel drying chambers with 12 or 16 ports. Valves accommodate both 1/2 and 3/4" adapters. Include clear acrylic cover and gaskets. Primarily accommodates freeze drying flasks and some serum bottles and ampules.

Heated Drying Chamber

Stainless steel chamber has a three shelf product heater with a +43°C high limit thermostat and 24 volt transformer. Includes clear acrylic cover, gaskets and electrical pass-through for transformer cords. Best suited for bulk samples or serum bottles. Specify 115 V or 230 V when ordering.

Clear Stoppering Chamber

Chamber provides an easy way of stoppering serum bottles under original vacuum. Two heated shelves inside a clear chamber have a +43°C thermostat and low voltage transformer. When lyophilization is complete, samples are stoppered by turning the stoppering handle. Vacuum release valve provides controlled release of vacuum. Accommodates small containers from 2 ml to 125 ml.

Manifolds

Ideal for lyophilizing multiple quantities of small samples in serum bottles, ampules or smaller flasks. Stainless steel manifolds are available with 10 or 20 ports, with one or two support shelves. Neoprene valves accommodate both 1/2 or 3/4" adapters. For ampules, a 48- port stainless steel manifold is available with 1/4" OD pipe stems to accommodate gum rubber or Tygon tubing.
