This twist-to-connect coupling provides a reliable and more secure alternative to luer-type connections. They also allow for the tubing to rotate freely when connected. This important feature prevents both kinked tubing and accidental disconnection during use. Couplings marked "straight-through" do not have an internal valve. Couplings marked "shut-off" have a leak-tight internal valve mechanism that will stop the fluid flow when the coupling is disconnected. Wetted parts: acetal and Buna-N o-ring (for acetal fittings); polypropylene with EDPM o-ring (for polypropylene fittings). Temperature range of –40 to 180°F (for acetal) and 32 to 180°F (for polypropylene). Maximum pressure of 100 psi.
