Designed specifically for labs, classrooms, and applications where a traditional chemical fume hood is not in use, but safety ventilation is required on a regular basis. Choose from 47" or 70" widths and hoods with or without blowers. Versatile blowers mounts on the top of the hood liner, above the hood. The blower is suitable for up to 100 feet of exhaust duct. Hoods without built-in blowers are for use with remote blowers.

All hoods include a 3/16" thick vertical rising and counterbalanced, tempered safety-glass sash. Interior and exterior are white epoxy-coated steel for excellent chemical resistance and feature a built-in, 100W incandescent, vapor-proof light fixture. Switches for blower and light are supplied with hoods with blower modules (9132, 9132A, 9135, and 9135A). Blower modules are belt-driven with an adjustable sheave and are made of weather-resistant, epoxy-coated steel base and housing.

Hoods are factory prepared for up to three service fixtures, one electrical duplex, and one air monitor. Right side wall accepts a cupsink and turret kit. Epoxy work surfaces, which go between the hood and the base (cabinet or stand), are sold separately. Storage cabinets and base stands are also sold separately.

All models conform to the following regulations and standards: SEFA 1-2002, NFPA 45-2000, ASTM E84-01, ASHRAE 110-95, ANSI Z9.5-1993, UL 3101-1/61010-1, and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 1010.1. ETL and CE-listed. CE conformity marking on 220 volt models.

EF9132A, EF9133, EF9133A, EF9135, EF9135A, EF9137, EF9137A are too heavy or too large to ship via UPS. Commercial truck shipping costs vary.
