Stomacher lab blenders use reciprocating stainless steel paddles for clean, rapid, and safe blending. Bags are tightly clamped in the instrument and can be heat-sealed to completely isolate the sample. Blending process requires a minimal amount of time with no instrument clean-up necessary—simply discard the used bag. Ideal for bacterial counts in food samples; bacterial and viral studies; producing single call suspensions from solid tumors; removing viruses and bacteria from tissue and organ samples; blending dry samples; sterile preparations of creams or ointments; and digestion and removal of organisms from samples or drug recovery from tissues. 120/220 V selectable, 60 Hz.

Stomacher 80
This compact unit is designed for small sample sizes from 5 to 80 mL. Features three paddle speeds and a timer for 30, 60, and 120 seconds, or continuous blending.

Stomacher 400C
An improved paddle design retains the crushing action and enhances the stirring action of the unit resulting in improved organism recovery and reliability. Sample volume is 80 to 400 mL. User-programmable timer and speed offer a choice of three paddle speeds and a digital timer from one second to 99 minutes, 59 seconds.

Stomacher 3500
The large sample capacity from 1000 to 3500 mL and gentle paddle action are ideal for blending powders and pathological samples. Features three paddle speeds and a timer for 30, 60, and 120 seconds, or continuous blending.

Stomacher Bags and Racks
High grade polyethylene sample bags provide high impact strength and are specifically designed for use with Stomacher® blenders. Stomacher® Standard Bags are hi-grade PE and have an open top for routine use. Stomacher® Closure Bags have a wire closure strip across the top and rounded corners for optimal sample recovery. Stomacher® Strainer Bags have an inner plastic mesh bag to retain sample, allowing for easier pipetting of the diluent. Bags are sterile and individually wrapped.

Rigid, clear plastic bag racks hold sample bags in an upright position. Racks for model 80 and 400C hold up to ten bags, model 3500 rack holds up to three bags.
