Take easy, convenient measurements of lab rodents' physical activity in response to chemical or environmental stimuli. Especially useful for research involving circulation rhythms, ingestion, drug or pharmaceutical testing. Accommodates lab mice, rats, and hamsters. Can be used with NALGENE® plastic animal cages (sizes F and L; see page 14) or cages with a cut-away bottom (sold below).

All metal parts are stainless steel and all non-electrical cage components are autoclavable. Wheel Assembly (9616A and B) includes:

	Activity wheel for voluntary wheel running
	Wheel hub and support providing durability
	Sheet lid that encloses wheel and covers cage for secure containment
	Activity wire lid incorporating water bottle support and food hopper.

Optional accessories include:

	Stainless Steel Cage and Tray Support (9616C and D) is a stainless steel support for one cage and waste tray. Permits tray removal without disturbing cage or animal. Assembly required. Autoclavable.
	Polycarbonate Cage with Cut Away Bottom (9616E and F) allows you to change bedding or waste tray without disturbing the animal,
	Stainless Steel Wire Floor for Cage with Cut Away Bottom (9616G and H) allows urine and feces to drop into a collection waste tray for waste product removal without removing the animal from cage.
	Polycarbonate Waste Tray (9616J and K) fits under cage to collect waste. Easy to clean. Dishwasher safe.
	Magnetic Switch with LCD Counter (9616L) conveniently counts whole revolutions of the activity wheel. Includes safety lock position on the reset button to eliminate accidental resetting. Battery operated.
